"At Emerson, there are many opportunities to participate in community life. Every member is encouraged to take an active role in groups and ministry teams dedicated to making our community a better place for all our members."
Current Programs and other - Events, such as our Elizabethan Evenings (a.k.a. Madrigal Dinner), Tea Party Cabaret, Art and Photographic Exhibits, and other events are open to our entire Emerson Community.
Covenant Groups - Covenant Groups are small, supportive discussion groups open to everyone at Emerson. We call them "Covenant Groups" because the central feature of the groups is a promise you make to one another to build trust, share openly, and care for one another in the highs and lows of our individual lives. We open membership in a CG in September so that everyone can "try it out" however, since a group covenants (promises) to respect their group through participation, attendance and confidentiality, once the group has had its first meeting, the group is then closed. If a group grows larger than 10 members, a second group will be formed. Learn more Covenant Groups
Garden Club - as the name suggests, this group of gardening enthusiasts meet at Emerson starting in Spring (as weather permits) into fall on TUE evenings at about 5:30 until about sunset. Join in! Even if you are new to gardening, come and learn!
