Preaching Workshop Dec 5th

Part 2 of Emerson's Lay Speaker's Series. Participants will develop an entire sermon from start to finish, and plan a worship service around it. Class meets at Emerson on Saturday Dec 5th, 9 am – 12 pm. RSVP required. Contact worship@emersonuuchapel.org for more information and to sign up!

Coming This Winter

Beginning January 7, six Thursdays, 7-9 PM at Emerson.

Principled Commitment: A Program for Couples, information, this program is for adult couples of all sexual orientations who have made vows or pledged to spend their lives together. Principled Commitment provides avenues for growing in faith while nourishing a committed partnership. Topics include: Covenant, Humility, Trust, Dignity, Generosity, Connection, Play, Collaboration, Commitment, Love, Faith and Celebration.

Starting January 10 during the RE hour

The "lost" Gospels: a multi-part series on esoteric Christianity.

What are the 'lost Gospels' spoken of in books and movies like "The DaVinci code"? Why were they written? Why were they suppressed? Are they spiritually valuable for modern people? Answers to these questions and more in this once-monthly RE series beginning January 10th 2010.
