Emerson UU Chapel welcomed a photographic exhibit by Emerson member Mark Fish. The exhibit was shown in Emerson's Sanctuary, where Emerson UU Chapel has welcomed several local artists over the last couple years. See a sampler. This exhibit concluded with a silent auction featuring this artist's work, as well as Marci Saphian and Phyllis MacLaren (see below and right).

Emerson UU Chapel welcomed an exhibit of Emerson member Bob Layne, "A Photo Retrospective" The exhibit ran through November 2009. An example is shown right. Other examples may be viewed here.

Carol Behrer, a member of Emerson UU Chapel, opened her exhibit of traditional Scherenschnitte, German Papercutting, in False-grained frames January 2009. Most of the papercuttings are painted with watercolors, and the themes whimsical and tell a story. Other selections of the Behrer's work may be seen here.

Emerson UU Chapel welcomed an exhibit of art work by Emerson member Marceline Saphian, "A Decade and More" the showing included oil and acrylic paintings, monotypes, welded sculpture and mosaic pieces. The exhibit ran through November 16, 2008.

Emerson UU Chapel was pleased to welcome an exhibit of art work by Emerson member Phyllis MacLaren, which featured fiber-based to mixed media; from non subjective to political topics. The exhibit ran in early 2008. Emerson welcomed back MacLaren following her 2010 summer trip to the East for a photographic exhibit, Asian Images.
