Our community may rent our building for events (e.g., weddings). Some restrictions apply. More information is available in our building rental agreement and page.
Our Emerson community is pleased to exhibit local artists and their work in our Sanctuary current and past exhibits.
Our Chapel offers adult discussions and classes on weekday evenings or Saturdays, as well as on Sunday mornings. Our book group (Readers Circle) meets on the third Monday at our chapel. See our calendar for other events and group meetings. For other events at Emerson, check out Community Life.
Each year from 2001 to 2011, in early December, we offered an Elizabethan Evening, also known as a Madrigal Dinner (directed by Camille Herman), an event guarenteed to put you in the holiday spirit. In 2013-14, we offer a TWELFTH NYTE celebration. This magical evening of community, holiday spirit, and a wrap-up of holiday spirit provides one of the largest fundraisers annually for our community. Most of Emerson assisted in some way (set-up, clean-up, serving, cooking, etc.) Lady of the Castle Emerson, Laura Davidson, will direct this annual event.
A great way to meet friends and members of our Emerson community, and enjoy a great dinner! More information. Also, see our bulletin board in the Hearth Room.
